Changes to opening hours for the household waste site

Due to the very hot weather, from tomorrow (Tuesday) for the rest of the week, the Household Waste and Recycling Site on White Hart Road in Chalvey will be changing its opening hours.

This is for the safety of our staff and visitors.

The Household Waste and Recycling Centre (HWRC) will open at 7:00 a.m. each day to allow early access, and it will close at 2:00 p.m. to avoid the hottest period, forecast between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
